Rover Perseverance it is powered by a nuclear reactor and, in addition to 25 high-resolution cameras, it is also equipped with a laser and chemical analysis equipment. Perseverance is also equipped with two microphones. They record the sound of a rover – NASA plans to study the sound of drilling rock and sediment samples on the surface of Mars, from which it would be possible to draw conclusions about the hardness of the material. In addition, experts believe that the analysis of sound recordings will provide new data about the atmosphere of Mars.

Perseverance Tasks
