Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will return in the same capsule in which they were launched into space in late May.

NASA set a date for the return of his astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley, from the International Space Station (ISS). According to Jim Bridenstine, NASA administrator, the SpaceX capsule will be back on August 2: “We are planning a departure on August 1 of SpaceX’s Dragon Endeavor spacecraft from the Space Station,” with the landing “scheduled for August 2. The weather will determine the actual date. “
Good weather is very important as wind speed could influence the capsule landing in the Atlantic Ocean.
SpaceX’s first manned trip was scheduled for last May 27, but due to bad weather it was postponed to day 30, when the Falcon9 finally was released successfully from Cape Canaveral. On May 31, the spacecraft docked at the ISS.
