The facts date back to Wednesday June 29, around 7 p.m., in the Malakoff district of Nantes. The bikers try to intercept a fleeing scooter rider. The pilot then goes to hide in the middle of a gang of 15 to 20 people, rue d’Angleterre. Garbage cans serve as a barricade and projectiles are thrown at the bikers. A national policeman is pushed to the ground by a participant in the regrouping, falling from the motorcycle without being injured.
Prosecuted for violence against a person holding public authority
The arrested boy, already known to juvenile justice for rodeos and violence, is being prosecuted for violence against a person holding public authority. He will be the subject of an appearance before a judge in prior recognition of guilt. In the clash, this young man was injured by the policeman’s motorcycle which had fallen.
Two minors, placed in police custody Thursday evening, were released on Friday, for lack of elements that could associate them with the clashes with the bikers.
