Two men took advantage of their victim’s vulnerability to pick his pockets. The police arrested them as they were about to use a stolen bank card.

Two men are in custody for theft in a meeting this Saturday morning at the Nantes police station. The police arrested them on Friday February 19, at the end of the afternoon, rue de Budapest, in the city center, when they were about to use a stolen bank card.

They are suspected of having stolen this card from an 80-year-old victim who was approached in the street. Taking advantage of his vulnerability, the duo had approached to make his pockets, also stealing 80 € in cash. Alerted, a police patrol followed the suspects to a tobacco shop where the pickpockets were finally arrested.

Their victim was not injured.
