The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Players’ Association (NBPA) are discussing the possibility of allowing players to replace their shirts on their shirts with different slogans in the season finale.

As NBPA President Chris Paul revealed in The Undefeated, slogans can be a call to social justice, a public purpose or a call to charity. Shirts could be decorated with slogans “Black Lives Matter”, “I Can’t Breathe” or others.

As you know, in the first round of the English Football Premier League, after the resumption of the tournament, the footballers had the slogan “Black Lives Matter” instead of their last names.

“We try to shed light on the different types of social justice issues that the NBA talks about every day. People say that these issues will not be on the agenda at the end of the season, but thanks to such slogans on shirts, the message will not disappear, “said Paul.

After the assassination of George Floid, many NBA basketball players took part in widespread protests in the United States, drawing attention to police violence against blacks and racism.

The NBA season will resume on July 31 with 22 teams meeting at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
