American researchers have figured out which product to get rid of first of all for those with high cholesterol levels. It turned out the whole thing in sugar.

As the scientists explained, for 80 years, patients with high cholesterol were recommended to adjust their diet, reducing the content of saturated fats. However, a healthy diet for the heart only involves the exclusion of sugar, says cardiologist David Diamond.
