Al-Marsad Newspaper: Muhammad Al-Sardi, beekeeper and expert in the honey trade, explained that bee honey only knows its true owner and that laboratories cannot detect adulterated honey.
He said during an interview with the “Yahla” program on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, that for honey, only the product that produces it knows honey and is difficult to detect.
He continued: Most beekeepers stayed away from bees, as a kilo costs us about 300 to 350 riyals, just as a production, but today a kilo costs us 9 riyals, and this is impossible, as a producer, how can I to continue.
He added: “Saudi honey is one of the best types in the world and we have won many international awards, but there is no laboratory power to reveal fraudulent factory honey.”
