Naftogaz proposes a new gas price

NAC Naftogaz of Ukraine from Tuesday, October 12, he offered a fixed price for gas in the amount of UAH 13.7 / cu. m (excluding VAT and transportation) by the end of 2022. About it reported the head of the board of the company Yuriy Vitrenko on Facebook.
“The current situation on the market shows that the mechanism of its regulation needs improvement,” Vitrenko wrote.
Due to this Naftogaz invites budget-funded organizations to conclude a contract for 15 months at a price “significantly lower than the spot price.”
According to Vitrenko, this decision was agreed upon and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and the company’s supervisory board.
Recall the administration of Khmelnytsky, Transcarpathian and Lviv regions decided to introduce an emergency technogenic nature of the regional level due to the lack of natural gas supplies to budgetary institutions for the autumn-winter period of 2021-2022.
At the same time, the President’s Office said that in the Ukrainian storage facilities enough gas for the needs of the population and the social sphere.
