Nadia vega married a foreigner named Yaar Jorik Dozy, in 2015. Before getting married, she and the animator of Hollywood films from the Netherlands were of different religions, Bunda.
The beginning of Nadia’s meeting with Jorik occurred around 2013, Nadia attended an animation festival in the Netherlands. In fact, Jorik was one of the speakers at the event, Bunda. They were introduced by fellow graphic designers.
Unexpectedly, Jorik was fascinated by Nadia’s beauty. Film animator Avengers and Transformers this also immediately asks for a phone number, you know. They finally made an appointment to meet again in Singapore. Because it turns out, Jorik is no longer living in the Netherlands.
“He lives in Singapore and coincidentally, at that time I had a project in Singapore too. Make another appointment, meet in Singapore and finally after meeting twice, I officially became a girlfriend,” recalled Nadia, when Intimate Interview HaiBunda via Zoom recently.
After about two years of dating and getting to know each other, Nadia and Jorik are finally determined to get married. Because of their different religions, Nadia’s family wanted Jorik to become a Muslim first.
Nadia Vega actually thought that if religion becomes an obstacle, she will surrender. “That’s why I thought, if (religion) becomes an obstacle, it doesn’t matter, maybe it’s not yet a match,” he said.
Jorik was also willing to be converts before marriage and his full name was Sultan Yaar Jorik Dozy. They then got married in Bali in 2015. So, did Jorik’s family in the Netherlands give their blessing?
