Mysterious Space Vibration Hits Planet Earth!

Bandung

Scientists around the world are intrigued by a mysterious vibration that hit the Earth on Sunday (9/10) yesterday. Extraordinary tremor or throbbing, which goes on for quite a while.

Reported by detikInet, ordinary people do not know, because there is no significant impact felt by the inhabitants of the earth. But scientists around the world are curious about this incident.

The mysterious vibration of high-energy radiation that passes through the Earth, probably from the birth of a black hole and called the Gamma Ray Burst (GRB), originated 1.9 billion years ago.

The explosion was detected for nearly 10 hours and astronomers believe it was closer to Earth. The mysterious pulse, which travels at the speed of light, takes 1.9 billion years to reach Earth and originates in one of the most powerful classes of explosions in the universe, which are among the brightest known events.

This high radiation is picked up by detectors around the world as they arrive and cross the Solar System at blazing speeds. Detectors aboard NASA’s Fermi Gamma-ray space telescope, Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory, and the Wind spacecraft showed sudden spikes in energy levels as astronomers trained telescopes to collect unique radiation signatures.

Scientists named it GRB 221009A and it came from the direction of the Sagitta constellation, which traveled about 1.9 billion years to reach Earth.

NASA said the explosion provided the long-awaited first observation opportunity for the connection between two experiments on the International Space Station, the NICER X-ray telescope and a Japanese detector called the Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI ).

The Orbiting High-energy Monitor Alert Network (OHMAN) allows NICER to quickly transform into an explosion detected by the MAXI.

“OHMAN provides automatic alerts that allow NICER to follow up within three hours, as soon as the source is visible to the telescope. Future opportunities may result in a response time of several minutes,” said Zaven Arzoumanian, Chief Scientific Officer of NICER, quoted from India Today.

“This explosion is much closer than a typical GRB, which is interesting because it allows us to detect a lot of detail. But it is also one of the brightest and most energetic explosions ever seen regardless of distance, which makes it doubly interesting,” he said. Roberta Pillera, member of the LAT Fermi Collaboration that led the initial communication on the explosion and a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy.

The explosion marked the birth of a black hole that formed in the heart of a massive star that collapsed under its own weight. Radiation is the emission of particles traveling close to the speed of light that penetrate a star, emitting X-rays and gamma rays as they flow through space.

NASA said in a statement that the light from this ancient explosion brings with it new insights into the birth of black holes, the behavior and interactions of matter near the speed of light, conditions in distant galaxies, and more.

“This other bright GRB may not appear for decades,” NASA said.
