West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA) (Boast) through Resort Agam installed three camera traps at the location where the mysterious creature appeared. The creature has been troubling the residents of Palembayan Tangah, Nagari IV Koto Pelembayan, Palembayan District, since a few weeks ago.
“We installed the three trapping cameras at the place where they appeared and where the traces were found,” said the head of the Agam Natural Resources Conservation Resort (KSDA), Ade Putra in Lubukbasung, as reported by the news agency. Among, Monday (7/6/2021).
He said that the first camera was installed at Gantiang Jorong Pasa Palambayan, while the second and third cameras were installed at Lakuak Jorong Palembayan Tangah. The camera was installed to get a visual picture of sightings reported by residents.
In that way, the certainty of the creature that has been horrendous residents will be obtained. “We have installed cameras for seven days and it is possible that more cameras will be added,” he said.
If the camera successfully captures a visual image, handling will be performed.
Regarding the information circulating in the community that imitation creatures, the Agam KSDA Resort did not want to comment. The camera was installed after receiving a report from Jorong Palembayan Tangah regarding residents’ unrest.
Receiving the report, the Agam KSDA Resort dispatched officers to interview residents to see and identify the field on Thursday (27/5).
