Myeong-seon Yoon Awarded for Music Creator Achievements

Seoul,South Korea – November 7,2025Myeong-seon Yoon,former president of the Music Producers‌ Association,has ⁤been honored⁤ with the ‘2025 FTMI Music ⁢Creator Achievement Award’ at the‍ General Assembly of the World Federation of Music Creators. ‍The‍ award recognizes Yoon’s meaningful contributions to strengthening the‍ rights and interests of music creators,both domestically and internationally.

yoon’s leadership spanned 2014 to 2018 as president ⁤of the Music Producers Association, where he focused on building a stronger institutional foundation for the institution. He later extended his advocacy as chairman of the‌ Asia Pacific⁣ Music ⁤Creators’ ‌alliance (APMA), championing creator rights ‍throughout⁢ the⁢ Asian region. This recognition from FTMI – a non-profit supporting over 500,000 global music creators – underscores the growing international acknowledgement of Korean music creators ⁢and their value. The award is expected to further elevate the ​conversation around fair compensation and openness in the digital music economy.

Beyond‌ his work in music‍ management, Yoon has‌ recently expanded⁢ his creative pursuits⁢ into literature, with his debut poetry collection scheduled for release on November 25th. He is also known for his association with numerous hit songs,including Lim Young-woong’s ‘Hymn of Life’,Park Seo-jin’s ‘Your Story’,Jeong​ Dong-won’s ‘Monologue’,Jin Hae-seong’s ‘Moth to Fire’,Jeon Yu-jin’s ‘Love Essay’,Song Ga-in’s ‘Mom Arirang’,Yang Ji-eun’s ‘Heung Arirang’,and Lin’s ‘Iya’.

the Music⁤ Producers Association ‍stated that ​Yoon’s ​award “is a significant event that has raised the⁢ status of​ Korean music creators,” and expressed hope that⁢ it will “serve as an prospect ⁤for Korean ⁢music creators to be recognized for their fair value on the world stage.” FTMI, established in 2014, aims ​to foster an ethical and sustainable music ecosystem through international collaboration.
