It happened after several owners had experienced that the car lost power and suddenly stopped while driving.
– There have been no accidents or injuries due to the failure of progress. Brakes, steering and other systems work properly, said Polestar’s communications manager Brent Ellis at the time.

Converter error
Now it is ready for a new recall from the Swedish-Chinese brand. Polestar itself publishes the news of an upcoming recall and service update. This should be so fresh that all customers have not been informed yet. According to a press release from the brand, the information about this will expire on Monday 2 November.
The problem now must be a fault in a converter between the battery pack and the electric motors. At the same time, Polestar will carry out a so-called service campaign on the cooling system for the battery pack. Here you need to replace parts that do not work well enough.

The actual mechanical work here must be done away with in one workshop visit.
Polestar states that finished cars that have not been handed over to customers will be repaired first. Cars that are already in the workshop will be repaired automatically. There may now be a delay in the delivery of new cars.
