Amsterdam – Amber van Hulst has been selling food and drinks on the Museumplein in Amsterdam for more than twenty years. The sudden announcement about the closure of the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum has turned Museumplein into a ghost square. Van Hulst: “It’s just 9/11. Then overnight Americans stopped coming. It is now just like then. There were still tourists on Thursday. Now they are all gone. ”
