A 38-year-old man and two children aged 4 and 7 were found dead in Switzerland on Sunday. The police assume murder.
Shortly before 1.30 p.m., the Swiss police received a message on Sunday that three lifeless people had been found in an apartment. Emergency services from the Thurgau cantonal police and the emergency services were quickly on site. As the cantonal police in Thurgau wrote in a message, the emergency doctor could only determine death.
The deceased are a 38-year-old man and two children aged 4 and 7. They are German nationals. The Thurgau cantonal police and the Kreuzlingen public prosecutor are assuming a homicide. The exact background is still unknown.
The forensic service of the Thurgau Cantonal Police and the Institute of Forensic Medicine were consulted for the further investigations. The Kreuzlingen public prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal investigation.
“Deeply affected”
As a local resident reports, one is “deeply affected” in the neighborhood: “I’m still completely confused. You don’t expect something like this to happen here.” You yourself don’t know the 38-year-old personally. “I only saw him from time to time with the children. The little ones were often with him on weekends.” According to the resident, he is said to have lived alone in the apartment.
A direct neighbor also confirms that the man lived alone and the children were with him almost every weekend: “I never saw the children’s mother. He lived separately from his wife.” As he says, he didn’t have much contact with the 38-year-old. “He was a loner,” said the neighbor.
That’s what the mother says
The mother of the children could reach the medium “20 minutes” by phone. Completely distraught, she says, “I can’t believe what happened. I don’t know how to deal with it.” Her ex, who lives only a few kilometers away, picked up the children on Friday. “They were with him every other weekend,” says the 36-year-old. As for her ex-partner, she says: “He was mentally ill and could not cope with the separation.”
