Murder machine Gruppe S. was after civil war in Germany | Abroad

‘Gruppe S’, as the terrorist group is popularly called, wanted nothing less than to unleash a civil war through bloody, simultaneous attacks.

It is almost impossible to imagine, but the dozen male neo-Nazis. who on Tuesday sat like small lambs with masks behind meter-high plexiglass, wanted to kill left-wing politicians, and simultaneously kill as many Muslims as possible at morning prayers in ten different places. The prosecution states that Gruppe S. was molded into a ‘killing machine’. According to the defense, however, it was about macho behavior and “pub talk.”

Justice thinks very differently about this. Gruppe S. fell through the basket when a trailer approached the police and gave the opportunity to eavesdrop on the gang.

Leader Walter S. (54) held target practice in the forest with sympathizers whom he had recruited via Telegram. The neo-Nazis ordered Kalashnikovs, Uzis and ammunition through motorcycle clubs such as Wodans Erben and Germanien. Czech arms dealers were also approached. When the police rounded up Gruppe S., no attack had yet been committed.

Werner S.’s second, like several others, was prepared to carry out a suicide attack. Tony E. invited a dozen comrades to Minden, West Germany. There the nurse told me that he had cancer and was willing to sacrifice his life.

Unemployed

According to the judiciary, his racist network included a cop, an entrepreneur and the unemployed. And star witness Paul E., who informed the police.

“Many of the suspects are Rijksburgers,” says lawyer Werner Siebers. This is a group of over twenty thousand often heavily armed Germans who long for Hitler’s Third Reich, do not accept the current government and do not want to pay taxes. Among the gang members also ‘preppers’, people who prepare themselves with weapons and food for the end of time.

Gruppe S. had only existed for two years. Most of the supporters were previously active in militant civilian militias, which sprang up like mushrooms after the 2015 refugee crisis. Since then, terror groups such as Revolution Chemnitz and the Gruppe Freital have also emerged, which carried out attacks on asylum seekers.

An example for them was also the Nordkreuz group, which consisted of agents and soldiers. They stole 10,000 rounds of ammunition and secretly practiced shooting ranges. Nordkreuz had already ordered body bags for left-wing politicians and journalists.

The case against the supporters of Gruppe S. will last until at least October.
