The Popular Party has presented José Ángel Bonome as a candidate for the 2019 municipal elections in Oleiros.
In this town, governed by Alternativa dos Veciños since 1985, the Popular Party aspires to “recover the 3,000 voters of the PP” who have not supported them so far, according to Bonome, a 48-year-old veterinarian and a resident of the town.
In his presentation he was accompanied by the provincial president of the PP of A Coruña, Diego Calvo, the general secretary of the PPdeG, Miguel Tellado, and members of the popular manager of Oleiros, such as its president Tuto Fernández Rosende and the previous candidate and deputy Tristana Moral
During his speech, Bonome was convinced that “new winds are blowing” for Oleiros, and assured that it is essential that Oleiros “reinvent itself and revitalize itself” because “there is not only an alternative for the neighbors: the PP has a project and will and enthusiasm to start it up “.
For his part, Diego Calvo has advanced that his challenge is “to at least equal the result in the last regional elections”, when 8,100 votes were obtained.
