Feeling Targeted

The former General Secretary (Sekum) of FPI, a community organization that has been banned by the government, said he had been targeted. His faults were also searched for.

“This modus operandi of slander and fabrication is carried out because of the fact that I have nothing to do with any terrorists and any terrorist acts, but because there is no legal evidence whatsoever, but the target is that I have to go to prison,” Munarman said while reading the memorandum of defense or plea. in a trial at the East Jakarta District Court (PN Jaktim), Monday (21/3/2022).

Munarman then mentioned about the disbandment of FPI and the shooting incident of 6 FPI troops which was carried out beyond common sense. Munarman said, the series of events was then arranged to prove he was a terrorist kingpin.

“The disbandment of FPI has justification and the case of the 6 HRS guards cannot be questioned by human rights law, so the slander operation beyond common sense was carried out without great shame, they made up their own story and then they were passionate about competing to prove that I was a terrorist kingpin,” Until this moment, they are still extracting information from all the arrested suspects and convicts who are currently serving their sentences through the interrogation process and outside the law in a criminal manner,” he said.

Munarman said that convicts who had finished serving their sentences were pressured to say sentences that declared themselves to be terrorist kingpins. Munarman revealed that he was the main target by a group of people to go to prison.

“Even former convicts who have finished serving their sentences they continue to pressure them to say the sentence that I am like a terrorist kingpin, they are this group of tyrants who continue to find fault with me with the main target of imprisoning me,” he said.
