Kingdom Under Fire 1 is back on Steam.

On the 3rd, the national game company Blueside opened the Kingdom Under Fire: War of Heroes Gold Edition page on Steam. This game is a re-released version of Kingdom Under Fire, released in 2000 by Phantagram, updated to work in the current environment using a blockchain server. We ran developer testing and feedback in mid-July, and this time we opened a Steam page. The game will be released in Early Access on the 12th.

Kingdom Under Fire is a game with a unique concept that combines RPGs with 2D-based RPGs such as StarCraft. Players can choose between Human Union and Dark Alliance and will choose 4 and 3 heroes from each faction, such as Curian, Kezer and Rick Blood, respectively, and play. Both normal units and heroes can level up, and magic can be used using mana, making it possible to establish a variety of strategies. It was very popular at the time, selling more than 500,000 copies in over 30 countries.

As mentioned above, the re-released version uses blockchain technology to replace the lost network server. Through this, you can enjoy online battles that were stopped about 10 years ago. Up to 8 players can participate in online battles. The technology was developed by Bloom Technology, a blockchain specialist, and Locus Chain, a blockchain platform developed by the company, is replacing the game server. Longtime Kingdom Under Fire fans took part in the test.

Kingdom Under Fire: War of Heroes official release date and detailed information will be revealed at a later date.
