On the same day, two multinationals – the French car manufacturer Renault and the American fast food giant McDonald’s – withdraw from Russia because of the war in Ukraine. Previously, oil giants Shell and BP, among others, had already considered it that way. Despite the multibillion-dollar losses associated with this, more and more companies are turning their backs on Russia.
