Mulenga immediately accurate with Go Ahead debut, Suárez again important for Atlético

Go Ahead Eagles has won the match against FC Eindhoven. In Deventer it became 3-0, Jacob Mulenga only needed twelve minutes to make his first goal for the Eagles.

Go Ahead Eagles – FC Eindhoven 3-0
Go Ahead Eagles took the victory in their own Eagle Hall against FC Eindhoven. Sam Beukema put the 1-0 on the scoreboard after about half an hour of play. After the tea break, Go Ahead remained the better, but the decision was delayed until minute 82. Mulenga was allowed to make his debut after 70 minutes of play and twelve minutes later he already had his first goal in Deventer. Bas Kuipers took care of the final chord with the 3-0.

Celta de Vigo – Atlético Madrid 0-2
After six minutes the ball was already in the net. Suárez was the end station of a smoothly running Atlético attack and thus put his signature under his second goal in the service of Los Rojiblancos. The remainder of the match in Balaídos went as you would expect in an Atlético match: the gates were kept closed and only in the final phase there was a second goal. Yannick Carrasco credited him.

Celtic – Rangers FC 0-2
The first Old Firm of the season has surprisingly become prey for Rangers FC: Steven Gerrard’s team won 0-2 against Celtic in the lion’s den. Connor Goldson headed home before half-time, fumbled in the 0-2 in the second half and became the hero of The Gers. Rangers remains in the lead with 29 points from eleven games: Celtic is four points behind, but still has one game due.

Granada 1-0 Seville
Just before half time Joan Jordán put Sevilla in a difficult position. He picked up two stupid yellow cards within a minute and that meant that Los Nervionenses had to compete against the surplus in the second half. That was also evident with the substitute Luuk de Jong in the team too difficult. In the final phase, Yangel Herrera decided the game on behalf of Granada, which will now prepare for Thursday’s Europa League match against PSV.
