BCA Account Muin Zachy’s property was broken into by Mohammad Thoha by using a pedicab driver named Setu. In fact, in that account, there was money from the sale of two houses. The nominal value is IDR 320 million.
BCA stated that the burglar in Muin’s account was Thoha, not a pedicab driver. Thoha has been boarding at Muin’s place.
“It’s not true that the pedicab driver broke in, but Thoha did boarding house with our customers,” said Executive Vice President of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility of BCA Hera F Haryn in a press conference, as reported detikFinanceThursday (26/1/2023).
For Treatment of Wife
Originally, Muin’s money would be used by his wife for treatment. Muin’s wife, Putri Aryani, breathed her last two weeks after the money for the treatment was stolen by Thoha and Setu on August 5, 2022. The woman died on Friday, August 19, 2022.
Muin’s biological adviser and daughter, Dewi Mahdalia, conveyed the sad news to Muin and the deceased Putri detikJatim.
“The incident occurred on August 5, so on August 19, 2022 my mother died,” said Dewi when contacted by telephone on Monday (23/1/2023).
Because of that, Dewi is determined to fight to get all of her father’s money back. It’s not enough just for Setu and Thoha to be sent to prison.
According to Dewi, her father deliberately sold their two houses in Surabaya and Sidoarjo to pay for medical expenses for her mother, who was previously diagnosed with complications.
From the sale of the house, IDR 345 million was obtained. Everything is kept in his father’s BCA account. However, before he could use it, the money for his mother’s treatment was stolen by Setu.
“The plan is for the money to be used for treatment. I have already gone to William Booth Hospital. The rest is for further treatment. My mother has a history of complications,” said Dewi.
