The artist Mohammed Ramadan raised a state of resentment in Kuwait, after he appeared in a video clip praising the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, according to CNN Arabic.

During the video clip, Ramadan said: “Greetings to the dear Iraqi people, the men … my beloved and my people … the country of legends, the country of dear Saddam.”

On the other hand, Kuwaitis described what the Egyptian artist said was an “insult”. And with the growing discontent, Ramadan appeared in a video clip he showed in a conversation with a fan, announcing his refusal to talk “in politics”.

While Kuwaiti actress and media artist Halima Boland defended Muhammad Ramadan, saying that she had contacted him and that he had clarified the truth of his position on Saddam Hussein.

Poland published a video, which she said was a conversation that took place between them, and that he mentioned that the video in circulation was “very old”, explaining that he was referring to his talk “Saddam is a dramatic rich person, and it is possible to embody it. Am I a Nazi? »

For her part, Halima Boland commented that Muhammad Ramadan “does not know that he (Saddam Hussein) is a criminal, he really does not know what his work was in Kuwait and Kuwaitis … and on the idea that there are many people in Egypt who do not know who has become (by Saddam)”.

And Halima added: “Muhammad Ramadan is impossible to offend Kuwait and not Kuwaitis … And it will be preferable for no number, even if it is not in Egypt, but before in the Gulf.”
