Twenty-three-year-old Muchová and eleven-year-old Strýcová fought on clay under a cloudy roof, because it was raining steadily in Prostějov. They fought a balanced duel with a decisive super tie-break, which replaces the third set in this exhibition format. In his ending, Muchová was more successful, who developed a swordball with an ace and subsequently, thanks to the double mistake of a more experienced opponent, transformed it.
“It was a difficult match with Bára, a long one and I am glad that in the end it was the super tie-break and not the third set and that it was in my favor in the end,” the winner told reporters. She could benefit from the advice of coach David Kotyza, who previously also led Strýcová. She was glad that she was gradually getting into the rhythm. “The beginning was a bit slower, a lot of mistakes. The second set was better and by the end I played a few winners there,” Muchová appreciated.

Alexandrovová forgot about unsuccessful matches from Prague and went out to be a player of the elite world twenties Vondroušová. She lost the first set, but from the second set she dominated the aggressive game and clearly dominated the decisive tie break.

Both tennis players will return to the court today during the final doubles. Vondroušová will play with Kristýna Plíšková, Alexandrovová will perform alongside the experienced deblist Uncle.
The selection led by the third player in the world, Plíšková, won the first part of this event, in which she defeated Petra Kvitová’s Pink Team 7: 4. The series will have two more episodes in Prague. It will be played on Štvanice on July 11-13 on clay and on July 25-27 on a hard surface.
