Muchová won a long introductory game by serving her opponent and ended the match with an aggressive and traditionally variable game after 59 minutes of play. “It was important to catch the beginning and then keep playing and not stopping,” she told Czech television.
Siniak went to the break three times in the wild first set, but each time she lost service. At 5: 4, Gauff, a bravely playing 16-year-old qualifier, did not allow the home player even a setball and managed the ending better.

In a balanced second set, Siniak did not use two breakballs and decided the tenth game. At 4: 5, the home tennis player deflected three matchwords in a row, but in the fourth, she hit the net.

Russian tennis player Veronika Kuděrmětovová will compete in the tournament duo Karolína Plíšková in the second round of the J&T Banka Ostrava Open 2020 indoor tournament. Karolína Plíšková had a free draw in the first round in Ostrava and Kuděrmětovová defeated the Croatian Donna Vekičová 6: 2 and 6: 4 after qualifying.
Plíšková has fought Kuděrmětová (47th WTA) twice so far. She won the year before last and this year at the end of August, when she returned to the WTA circuit after a coronavirus break, she lost to the courts in New York, where a tournament was held, which is traditionally hosted by Cincinnati.
