MU Wins 3-1 Over Reading


Manchester United 3-1 win over Reading in continuation Cup FOUR. The Red Devils continue to keep their hopes up to continue advancing to the next round!

Manchester United vs Reading presented at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the FA Cup, Sunday (29/1) in the morning WIB. MU has the right to move on to the next round after winning 3-1.

Course of the Match

The first half finished with a score of 0-0. Manchester United appeared to dominate more, but Reading’s backline was so tight.

Actually, MU had taken the lead through Marcus Rashford’s header. However, it was disallowed, because previously Weghorst was in an offside position.

In the second half, the deadlock was broken. MU’s first goal was scored by Casemiro in the 54th minute. Casemiro chipped the ball in after chasing down a through ball from Antony.

Four minutes later, Casemiro scored a beautiful goal. His long-range shot hit Reading’s rearguard, but the round leather tore the goal.

Fred added the host’s goal in the 66th minute. His beautiful heel kick completed Bruno Fernandes’ pass.

Reading only once replied via Amadou Salif Mbengue’s header. Reading also had to play with 10 men, after Andy Carroll was punished twice for yellow cards.
