“We have not yet thought whether Dhoni will play next season. It is entirely up to Dhoni to take a decision in that regard. It is true that Dhoni is seeking medical attention for his left knee injury. If he needs surgery, he will do it,” Viswanathan said.
Chennai Super Kings won the IPL 2023 title by defeating Gujarat by five wickets.
