“MS Dhoni Undergoes Treatment for Knee Injury, Chennai Super Kings Uncertain for Next Season”

Team CEO Kashi Vishwanath said that Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is undergoing treatment for a knee injury. Dhoni played last season with an injured knee. Kashi Vishwanath said that Dhoni will seek treatment and if necessary undergo surgery.

“We have not yet thought whether Dhoni will play next season. It is entirely up to Dhoni to take a decision in that regard. It is true that Dhoni is seeking medical attention for his left knee injury. If he needs surgery, he will do it,” Viswanathan said.

Chennai Super Kings won the IPL 2023 title by defeating Gujarat by five wickets. In response, rain came as a villain at the beginning of the batting, but with huge blows, Chennai won the fifth IPL title. Chennai needed 171 runs to win the match which was reduced to 15 overs due to rain. Ravindra Jadeja hit a six and a boundary in the last two balls to give Chennai a thrilling victory.
