Briefing request

Representative Hassan El-Sayed, a member of the House of Representatives, announced that he submitted a request for a briefing against the Football Association because of the monthly salary paid by the technical staff of the first national team led by Captain Hossam Al-Badri and his assistants.

Representative Hassan Al-Sayyid denounced that the senior salary that the national team managers receive, especially the current coach, who despite having received approximately 700 thousand pounds per month, but he did not provide anything until now, and we did not notice a change in the performance or results of the team, confirming that it is a waste of money Year.

A member of the House of Representatives said that when he called President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to take on the national team coach, he meant a man whose goal is not to collect money like a foreigner who works for money only, and in this way the national coach did not differ much from the foreigner, and therefore the president’s request to take over Trainer with national specifications.

He pointed to the salary that the Olympic team coach earns, and who, despite his rise, is also not comparable to the salary of the first team coach, despite the Olympic team achieving a great achievement by going up to the Olympics and obtaining the African U-23 Championship.

A member of the House of Representatives called on the Football Association to review the salaries of managers of national teams because this is a waste of public money, saying: “There are people who are tired and pay taxes and countries who take 700 thousand pounds … and the most senior officials in the state have a maximum salary of 42 thousand pounds.”

He pointed out that once the Parliament reconvenes, it will submit the request for briefing, expressing the hope that it will be discussed seriously and be responded to.

The Football Association responds

Azmi Mujahid, director of the Follow-up Department of the Football Association, commented on the briefing request that was announced by Representative Hassan Al-Sayed in the House of Representatives regarding the salary of Hossam Al-Badri, technical director of the Egyptian national team and his supporting staff.

Azmi Mujahid said that MP Hassan al-Sayyid has to focus in his electoral district and the problems it is going through and try to confront the phenomenon of harassment, high prices and the problems of citizens.

Continued: If Representative Hassan Al-Sayyid wishes to make a request for briefing, the first is to be against the salaries of foreign coaches in clubs, and it is not correct to speak on the salaries of national coaches.

He added that the deputy parliament should talk about the contracts of the players in the clubs, noting that the idea of the salaries of the technical staff of the teams is not equivalent to the salary of the foreign coaches who work in the clubs.
