Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Moment pandemic, human life and movement are limited. From those who usually travel to various places, now they are concentrated in one place or at home.

The house is the host for typing, eating, exercising, exercising, cooking, working, until sleeping. Working from home can also cause fatigue, you have to maintain our stress level just as important when you are in the office

In some cases, the lines between career and life are blurred. In addition, while at home, during work, you also often do not move throughout the day. Did you know that this only adds to the mental stress you are facing at this time.

“There are problems that can arise from sitting too long,” said Zoe Williams, GP and a member of the Strong Women Collective Stylist.

“This can make our bodies experience inflammation which actually has a big effect on the brain and can affect our mood,” he explained.

In fact, inflammation has been linked to disorders such as stress, anxiety, and depression, and in a study published in Biological Psychiatry, it was shown that there was a significant drop in mood just three hours after participants’ inflammatory response was triggered.

Going out while working from home can support your mental health. Research from the University of Illinois in 2012 showed that exercise can increase anti-inflammatory cytokines.

“Physical inactivity and silence are two separate things. You could be someone who is very physically active, cycling every day or going to the gym. But if you then sit for nine hours a day, you also don’t move much. Or, you may be. someone who moves a lot during the day but doesn’t do any activity.

“So rest is very important for reducing inactive behavior and” creating metabolic changes that are beneficial to physical and mental health, “explains Williams.

About 15 minutes of walking or running a day can reduce the risk of depression by 26 percent, in a recent study conducted by the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and 10 minutes of stretching has also been shown to reduce anxiety levels, according to research by the University of Zaragoza, Spain.

2. Avoid using the elevator

It doesn’t matter when you’re at home, because most of us don’t install escalators at home. But when you come back to the office, going up and down stairs is a simple way to improve your health.

3. Move the trash

Most of us want a tidy workspace, so if you put your trash in another room, you have no choice but to walk elsewhere while you tear pages from your notebooks or finish your snack. That way you will move more.
