Royal Excel Mouscron has fired its trainer Fernando Da Cruz. The French coach had only been working for it since July 2020 the Hurlus, but did not complete a smashing course. After nine match days, Mouscron is last in the Jupiler Pro League with 3 out of 27.

Despite the low score, the management of Mouscron wanted to emphasize the work and involvement of Da Cruz and his staff. The French coach also gave a message himself. “I want to thank Gerard Lopez, Luis Campos and Diego Lopez for the confidence they had in me. After the loss at Ostend on October 4, there were already deliberations and doubts about throwing out Da Cruz. But the management then decided to give him two more matches.
