Motorola has launched its latest generation of foldable smartphones, teh Motorola Razr 60 and Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, less then a year after its previous models. These new iterations promise enhanced performance, improved camera capabilities, increased durability, and advanced artificial intelligence integration.The Razr 60 Ultra, specifically for the Czech Republic market, will be available in a 16+512 GB memory configuration for 32,500 CZK.

The Razr 60 Ultra offers a variety of surface treatments, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences:

These materials are paired with Pantone colors, including Scarab, Mountain Trail, Cabaret, and Rio Red. The Czech Republic will receive all but the pink cabaret variant. The standard Razr 60 will feature leatherette, nylon, or acetate surfaces in colors like Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, Lightest Sky, and Parkait Pink, available in select markets.

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra aims to be the most powerful flip phone on the market, driven by the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This upgrade provides a 45% increase in CPU power and a 40% increase in graphic performance compared to the previous generation. The Razr 60 is equipped with the mediatek Dimensity 7400X processor, enhancing artificial intelligence performance by 15% compared to its predecessor.

Durability and Design Improvements

Both phones feature enhanced design and durability. The reinforced hinged board is four times stronger than surgical stainless steel and designed to withstand 35% more bends than previous generations. Both models boast an IP48 rating, ensuring protection against dust and immersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

Display Technology

The Razr 60 Ultra features a larger 7-inch internal flexible AMOLED display. The external display remains at 4 inches, retaining its status as the largest external display on current clamshell phones. Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protects the outer panel, providing ten times better fall resistance. The Razr 60 includes a 6.9-inch internal display and a 3.6-inch external display.

Battery and Charging

The Razr 60 ultra is powered by a 4700 mAh battery, designed to last over 36 hours on a single charge. It supports 68W Turbopower charging, which, according to Motorola, provides energy for the whole day in just 8 minutes. Additionally,it offers 30W wireless charging and reverse charging.The Razr 60 features a 4500 mAh battery with 30W Turbopower charging and 15W wireless charging support.

Camera Enhancements

The Razr 60 Ultra has replaced the telephoto lens with a 50MP ultra-wide lens (also for macro photography). Zoom functionality will rely on cropping from the primary 50MP sensor. The Razr 60 also features a 50MP main camera, paired with a 13MP ultra-wide lens that doubles as a macro lens.

Artificial Intelligence in Photography

Both phones leverage artificial intelligence to enhance image quality. Features include improved dynamic range, reduced noise, and finer details. The Signature Style feature learns user preferences and automatically adjusts photos to match their personal aesthetic. Gemini and Gemini Live are also accessible from the external display.
