A motorist died at dawn this Tuesday after crash into some logs that blocked a road in the La Araucanía region.
The incident occurred in the Chincailil sector in the Lautaro commune, on the way to Vilcún.
At the scene the driver of the vehicle hit a log that was in the middle of the road, dying on the spot.
Staff from the Carabineros, the Prosecutor’s Office and the PDI arrived at the place to investigate how the accident occurred and find the eventual responsible to leave the trees thrown on the road.
The Araucanía Medical Legal Service also went to the site where the crash occurred to remove the driver’s body.
