MotoGP, the starting grid for the 2020 European GP in Valencia

Pol Espargaró wins the second pole of his career in Valencia. Rins and Nakagami complete the front row. After the warm up, a communication from the FIM stewards panel arrived: Aleix Espargaró loses three positions on the grid because “he did not respect the blue flag while exiting the pit lane, interfering with another driver”. In the European GP he starts 9th, with Morbidelli gaining a position among others (he starts from the eighth box). Race scheduled at 2pm

Vinales, 6th engine punched: he will start in the pit lane

Maverick Vinales closed the qualifying for the European GP in 15th place, but will still start from the pit lane (and therefore in last position) for having punched the 6th engine. All the pilots from 16th position downwards therefore earn one position at the start. Penalty also for Aleix Espargaró, who had closed the qualifications in 6th place: loses three positions because “he did not respect the blue flag while exiting the pit lane, interfering with another driver”. The Spaniard from Aprilia will start 9th, with Franco Morbidelli which among the others earns a position (now it clicks from the eighth space). MotoGP race at 2 pm on Sky Sport MotoGP (channel 208) and Sky Sport Uno (channel 201), also in streaming on NOW TV.
