Yamaha still dominates the Aragon MotoGP free practice. In the second session, Maverick Vinales became the fastest rider followed by Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli.
Taking place at MotorLand Aragon, Friday (16/10/2020) evening WIB, Vinales recorded a time of 1 minute 47.771 seconds. The Yamaha factory team rider improved his time at the top of the previous session.
Quartararo occupies second place with 0.249 seconds difference from Vinales. This Petronas Yamaha SRT racer was the fastest in the last rounds before Vinales took over.
Quartararo’s team-mate, Morbidelli, is in third place with a 0.730 second gap from Vinales. This Brazilian half Italian racer is ahead of Joan Mir and Cal Crutchlow, who complete the top five.
Repsol Honda rider Alex Marquez completed his second free practice in eighth place, dropping four strips from the previous despite being faster. Alex was behind the Espargaro brothers; Aleix is in sixth place, followed by his younger brother, Pol.
Ducati is still not at Aragon. Following Andrea Dovizioso who had to settle for being in 13th position, then Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci were in 14th and 15th place respectively.
