Moto Edge X30 will be the first to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, really?

Jakarta, Selular.ID – In recent years, Motorola has gone above and beyond and introduced the world’s first mobile phone powered by the latest and most powerful Snapdragon chip.

In the near future, the company will unveil the Moto Edge X30, and it is rumored to be the first to adopt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

As the Selular team quoted from Gizchina, a company official shared a live image of the Moto Edge X30. From the picture, it looks like there is a thin bezel around the punch-hole screen in the middle.

In addition, Motorola’s official Weibo channel also published a short video clip. The latter suggests that the Moto Edge X30 will come with a display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. This screen will also come with HDR10+ certification and support 1 billion colors.

Although the manufacturer has not revealed the screen size and resolution, there have been rumors that the Moto Edge X30 will feature a 6.67-inch screen with FullHD + resolution.

Regarding performance, in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, this phone is rumored to be carrying 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and storage space consisting of two versions, namely 12GB and 256GB. But there is no option for storage expansion.

The 5000mAh battery capacity will make this brand-new phone powerful, which will later draw power through the USB-C port (3.1 Gen 1) up to 68W.
