Moskalkova called the introduction of digital passes a reasonable measure

The introduction in the Moscow region of digital passes to monitor the regime of self-isolation is a necessary and justified measure, said Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova. According to her, this decision is commensurate with the threat of the spread of coronavirus.

“Moscow is forced to defend itself,” said Ms. Moskalkova. “This is a necessary and justified measure,” she told Interfax, recalling that the number of cases in Moscow and the region has increased. The Commissioner for Human Rights also drew attention to the need for a clear description of all procedures for issuing passes so that citizens would not have difficulties.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree according to which special digital passes are introduced for trips in Moscow and the Moscow Region on personal and public transport. You can start issuing digital passes from Monday, April 13. From Wednesday, April 15, their availability for travel will be mandatory.
