“An investigation has to be carried out. Of course, with the participation of Russia,” says Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin.
A week ago, four leaks were detected in the Nord Stream pipeline system near the Danish island of Bornholm. Two leaks were found on the Swedish side and two on the Danish side.
On Monday, Sweden cordoned off the area around natural gas leaks in the Baltic Sea while an investigation is underway.
Western experts believe that the pipelines were most likely blown up and many blamed Russia, which, of course, denies it.
