They bought a pharaonic villa surrounded by a huge park in one of the most exclusive places around Los Angeles: just think that their “neighbors” are Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ellen DeGeneres. Prince Charles took charge of paying the advance for the purchase, of about 5 million dollars. Now it is up to the dukes to pay the mortgage, who are currently still out of work. Not to mention that the “debt” contracted with British subjects also hangs on them, who are still waiting to be reimbursed for the two million pounds spent on the renovation of Frogmore Cottage, where the couple lived only a few months.

The Santa Barbara mansion would have cost $ 14.7 million in total. Built in 2003, the Mediterranean-style main house includes a library, a gym, separate wet and dry saunas, an elevator, a games room and a home theater. In total there are 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, between the main building and the annex. There is also a tea room, a children’s cottage and gardens with tiered rose gardens, centuries-old olive trees and tall Italian cypresses. A full-sized tennis court, a paddling pool with a paddling lane and a playground for the little ones are among the many other outdoor amenities.

Meghan’s hope is to resume her acting career and it seems that she has already resumed contact with the production companies. Although the required fee is 50 million dollars, it seems that not a few directors are interested in working with her. An alternative could be writing articles on issues that are important to her and Harry, or giving public speeches on social issues.
