Mortada Mansour accuses the head of Saudi cooperation of sabotaging Zamalek … and hints at Ferreira’s return

Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek club, attacked French Patrice Carteron, the former coach of the team, for his departure from the white team. Mansour said in televised statements: “Carteron sold his reputation for money and betrayed Zamalek and the players, and he is a liar, especially since he said that he does not have a contract or an offer, and then he contracted with the Saudi Al-Taawon Club.”

Mortada Mansour accused the president of the Saudi Al-Taawon Club, Muhammad Al-Qasim, of carrying out a piracy operation after his contract with Patrice Carteron, accusing him of trying to sabotage the Zamalek club, and Mortada addressed the Saudi officials: “Is this satisfactory to you, Zamalek club is not a youth center?”

Mansour added: “When the chief of cooperation asked me to contract with Mustafa Fathi, I agreed to his financial demands and did not argue with him. In return, he refused Carteron’s request to continue his career with us until the end of the African Champions League.”

About the possibility of Jesualdo Ferreira returning to train the team again, he replied: “Inward, there is a crisis committee in session around the clock to solve the problem,” adding: “Within 48 hours, we will announce the new coach.”
