Morocco condemns publication of Muhammad cartoons

While condemning acts of savagery committed in the name of Islam, the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned this Sunday, October 25 the continuous dissemination of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

The Morocco “Denounces these provocations offending the sanctity of the Muslim religion”, the ministry said in a statement.

Several countries in the Middle East have called for boycott of French products due to the publication of the cartoons.

In this context of diplomatic tensions, the French president Emmanuel Macron called for unity and reason on Sunday.
