Tunisia reopened its borders on Saturday, June 27, to Moroccan, French and Spanish tourists, but not yet to Algerians…

Tunisian authorities have classified visitors into two categories. We find in the first category, visitors from countries classified in the green list. These are not subject to any conditions. The second category concerns those who come from countries on the “orange” list (France, Spain and Morocco are part of it). They must present a negative covid-19 test.

Algeria does not appear in any category. “The countries not included in any list are classified red, like Algeria or Russia, two big markets for Tunisian tourism”, explained to theAFP the Ministry of Health. “Only Tunisians can arrive from countries classified red: they must present a negative test, carry out a compulsory quarantine of seven days at the hotel at their expense, then do another test before leaving,” added the same source.

Several flights, notably from Europe, already landed at Tunis-Carthage airport on Saturday. Tunisians and French traveled on a plane from Paris.
