Several country music stars criticize Morgan Wallen after being filmed using a racial slur.
Singer Maren Morris took to Twitter to express her feelings.

Morgan Wallen apologized after a video surfaced showing him shouting a racial insult. The video, which was first posted by TMZ on Tuesday night, showed him outside a house in Nashville, Tennessee, screaming profanity.

Wallen’s remorse comes after TMZ released a video of the “Wasted On You” singer coming home on Sunday night with a group of friends. The clip shows Wallen walking down his driveway as he refers to one of his friends as the N word and uses other profanities.
Since the video went viral, Wallen’s label announced that he had suspended his recording contract “indefinitely”.

“Following recent events, Big Loud Records has made the decision to indefinitely suspend Morgan Wallen’s contract,” the statement read.
CMT, the country music television channel owned by Viacom, has also suspended the playing of Wallen’s music. The company wrote on social media, “After learning of Morgan Wallen’s racial insult late last night, we are in the process of removing his appearances from all of our platforms. We do not condone or condone words and actions that are in direct opposition to our core values which celebrate diversity and fairness. & inclusion. “
And the radio station, iHeartRadio, has removed all of Wallen’s songs from its stations.

“In light of Morgan Wallen’s recent actions involving the use of racial slurs, we have made the decision to remove his music and content from our stations with immediate effect,” an iHeartMedia spokesperson told Fox News.
A representative for Wallen did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.
