More than 70 old Xbox 360 and Xbox games become compatible with Xbox …

During Monday’s 20th anniversary celebration, Microsoft was able to announce that they are making over 70 games from Xbox 360 and Xbox backwards compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. This opens up the possibility of enjoying the older games on the newer consoles with new improvements.

All the games are available via the online stores on the consoles, but if you have the old disks lying around, you can still use them. Note that the Xbox Series S does not have a disk drive, so in that case you must own the game digitally via the Xbox Store.

In addition, over 30 of the games already available via backward compatibility will have better frame rates. The Gears of War series, Fable, Sonic Generations and Kameo are some of the most high-profile titles mentioned.
