More than 3,000 students from 2nd year of Baccalaureate, upper cycles of FP and 4th of ESO return to classes | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

More of 3,000 students voluntarily resume face-to-face classes in 70 institutes and six Public Centers of Basic Education (CPEB) -which include in the same campus pre-school, primary and compulsory secondary education-. To them, the students mentioned for tutorials of 4th of ESO in the subsidized centers are added.

Specific, 2,218 students in 2nd year of Baccalaureate have expressed their intention to go for the next three weeks to the classroom to prepare the Baccalaureate Assessment for University access (EBAU) in public institutes (the Baccalaureate in private centers does not have an educational agreement). Further, 271 students will rejoin their centers to complete projects for higher vocational training cycles, and 577 for 4th ESO have been summoned by their tutors for actions of reinforcement.

The Ministry of Education issued a resolution on May 25 ordering the face-to-face incorporation of the necessary teaching staff to serve the students in this phase 2 of the de-escalation. The standard establishes a series of organizational, hygiene and adaptation measures that the centers have assumed for this stage.

The Activity in the classroom is also resumed for teachers who are part of the courts and commissions of the entrance exams to the different teachings and the exams for obtaining degrees, as well as for the guidance and psychopedagogy personnel who have to carry out tasks related to schooling.

He students must meet the measurements general of protection and hygiene, as well as those that each center has established for the use of the facilities, especially respecting the safety distance. He personal teacher, for his part, must follow the recommendations collected in the protocol health for the prevention of contagion by COVID-19 in the workplace, available on the Educastur intranet, as well as the counseling instructions.

Those with symptoms will not be able to attend the centers compatible with COVID-19 or have the disease, nor those people that are in period of quarantine domiciliary for having had contact with an infected person.
