A herd of bison, numbering at least 100 individuals, was walking across a frozen river. Some of them fell through the ice.
In the Svisloch district of the Grodno region (Belarus), 21 bison fell through the ice in the pond on the Medyanka River. Animals died. This is reported zerkalo.io.
In addition, a young bison was found on the river bank, which was bitten by predators.
