According to a probe orchestrated by Pollara and the Canadian Pharmacists Association, 57% of Canadian citizens will be vaccinated. This is an increase of 12% compared to last year.
The study was made thanks to the testimonies of 1912 respondents between May 21 and 25.
In addition, 26% of people who will protect themselves against the flu in the next few months had not done so in the past year. This response is largely attributable to the presence of the coronavirus, the poll found.
Indeed, 34% of respondents admitted that the virus would push them more towards vaccination against influenza. Even though 58% responded that COVID-19 had no influence on their decision, the Canadian Pharmacists Association recognizes that the pandemic “has created a lot of uncertainty for people.”
