More blood and plasma donations at the university hospital

In the past year, more people donated blood and plasma than in the previous year. This was announced by the Leipzig University Hospital. Accordingly, an increase of a good 1850 donations could be recorded. According to the UKL, this is a reason to be happy, especially because of the difficult framework conditions in the Corona crisis and shows the willingness of people to help. Because: Due to the protective measures, almost 75 percent of the mobile blood donation appointments were no longer allowed to be carried out. The failure could only be compensated by the willingness of the people to donate.
