Montreal: 56-year-old man in hospital after collision in Verdun

A 56-year-old man ended up in hospital after a collision that made him eject on the roof of his vehicle, Thursday evening, in Verdun, in Montreal.

The driver was traveling westbound on Riverview Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. before losing control of his vehicle and colliding with rocks at the edge of the T-shaped pavement.

The collision capsized the vehicle and the man ended up on the roof after a few rollovers.

The fifty-year-old was transported to a hospital, said the Police Department of the City of Montreal.

“We are still waiting for his state of health,” said SPVM spokesperson Jessica Lalonde.

The possibility that alcohol was involved in this accident is not ruled out by the police.
