Moldova to return health emergency and apply covid certificates

The Ministry of Health admitted that additional restrictions will be announced in the coming days.

A state of emergency began to operate in Moldova on Friday, September 10, due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus. This was announced on Thursday, September 9 NewsMaker.

Preliminary, the state of emergency will operate until October 30.

In this regard, for adults, restrictions are imposed on access to public events – to attend concerts, nightclubs and festivals, including in the open air, a document on the full course of vaccination against coronavirus will be required, or a negative test for infection, not older than 72 hours or a certificate of a past illness for the last six months, or the presence of antibodies after an illness.

The Ministry of Health admitted that additional restrictions will be announced in the coming days.

Due to the epidemic situation, a significant part of the country has already been assigned to the red zone. Over the past week, the number of people with Covid-19 has increased by 26%. At the same time, the number of sick children among children increased by 30%. More than 80% of new patients are unvaccinated.

As previously reported, almost half of the vaccination stations in Ukraine do not work.
