The Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool, is targeting the equalization of the goals of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Italian Juventus star, which he scored in the English Premier League while he was playing for Manchester United before his departure for Real Madrid.
Brighton will host the champions Liverpool tomorrow, Saturday, at the opening of the tenth round of the English Premier League, and Salah is expected to return to participate in the local competition, after his Corona virus test result was negative.
Salah scored his eighth goal in eight matches he played in Premier League after visiting Manchester City in the match that ended in a 1-1 draw, before missing the last match against Leicester City in the ninth round, which ended with the Reds’ victory (3-0).
The 28-year-old offers great levels on English soil, as he scored 83 goals in 129 Premier League matches, including two goals in 13 matches with Chelsea, to come on the cusp of equating the goals of some stars in the history of the competition.
Salah separates one goal to equal the number of Cristiano Ronaldo, which he achieved over the course of six seasons in the Manchester United shirt between 2003 and 2009, where the Portuguese scored 84 goals in 196 games, 67 times more than Salah has played so far.
The Egyptian star is just two goals away from the Belgian’s Eden Hazard, the current Real Madrid star, who scored 85 goals in 245 matches he played in Premier League with Chelsea over the course of seven seasons from 2012 until 2019.
It is reported that Mohamed Salah scored two goals with Chelsea in the 2013/14 season, and scored 81 goals with Liverpool, 32 goals in his first 2017/18 seasons, 22 goals in 2018/19, 19 in 2019/20, and 8 so far in the current season 2020. / 21.
